Appointment Day!!!!!

Appointment day with you Coach!!! I got to see you and talk about good food and what stuff does and it was so good to see you! It totally energized me and you are so beautiful and so overflowing with love of life and you have so much courage and a bravery I can only aspire to posess.
No I didn't work out or run, but the tower elevator is out and that climb up the stairwell up 6 floors has my legs and glutes burning by the time I get up to my perch.
I ate pretty well yesterday as well, had organic oatmeal with flax seed and one small cup (1/2oz) of (please don't cringe Coach) non-dairy caramel coffee creamer mixed in (it's not as gross as it sounds) for some flavor. Fresh raspberries/blueberries/strawberries/pineapple and chunks of chicken for a snack. I nursed a 16 oz coffee over 8 hours and downed a liter and a half of high quality H-2o. I caught myself getting into the chips/salsa at the end of the day and cut that short...otherwise dietary wise one of my better days.
There's something that feels empowering about making myself get up and put something asside that I like but know I shouldn't devour like its my last meal and shove it to the back of the cupboard and walk away.
At the end of the day I was exhausted but so happy and felt  emotions I can't describe. It was a most signficant and incredible day.

  1. Functional exercise = accomplishing something you'd be doing anyway such as climbing 6 flights of stairs and realizing you're getting your exercise. It's the best ever because you're using and moving the muscle groups you naturally use. This is a great way to stay in shape!

    I never cringe, you're making great strides in the right direction. Way to pat yourself on the back for the good things you've done! Your progress is amazing! I'm always here to support your every effort.
